First, what is web-based software anyway?
Web-based software is software you use over the Internet with a web browser. You don’t have to install any CDs, download any software, or worry about upgrades. If you’ve ever used an online bank or email program like Gmail, Hotmail, or Yahoo Mail, you’ve used web-based software before.
Why is it better for my business?
When you use web-based software you don't have to worry about anything technical. We handle all the security and uptime and upgrades and “IT guy” stuff. You can stay focused on your business and we'll handle the rest.
Where is ReadyPing available?
ReadyPing is available in the United States. This includes the 48 contiguous states, the District of Columbia, Alaska and Hawaii.
In a nutshell, how does ReadyPing work?
ReadyPing’s software is intuitive and easy to use. A former Apple user experience expert created our screen design with simplicity in mind. Walk-in customers or those with reservations or appointments can be easily managed from a single list. Wait times and other pertinent data are at your fingertips. A simple click of a button will instantly send a text message to alert customers that their product or service is ready. Managing your wait list couldn’t be any easier.
What if a customer does not want to receive a text message?
Customers can be alerted by text message, phone call, pager (if you use them) or simply by finding them the old fashioned way. So receiving a text message is not an absolute requirement. Reassure the customer that they will only receive text messages to let them know when their product or service is ready. If they are still hesitant, simply choose one of the other alert methods instead.
What happens if I lose my Internet connection?
In rare instances when your Internet connection is interrupted, our software will continue to operate in offline mode. You can keep using ReadyPing the same way you did before the outage. The only difference is that you will not be able to send text messages until your connection is restored. The good news is that the mobile number for any customer you may need to text can be easily viewed. Just call those customers instead of texting them until you are back online.
What is included in the Free 14-Day trial?
You get unlimited use of our software to ensure its right for your business. You also get to send 100 Free text messages during the trial.
What if 100 text messages are not enough for me during the trial?
If you need more text messages during the trial, they can be purchased in blocks of 100, 200, 300, etc. Just login to your account profile to order more text messages as needed.
What happens to unused text messages from my trial?
Text messages never expire while your account is active. They simply rollover. So whether or not you purchased a block, any text messages that were not used during your trial will be available when your paid monthly subscription begins.
Do I need to keep manually ordering text messages so I don’t run out?
Of course not. Additional text messages are also offered in auto-reload bundles of 1,000, 2,000, 3,000 etc. Once you decide ReadyPing is right for your business, simply choose an auto-reload bundle. Whenever your text message balance drops below 500, your credit card will be charged for the bundle selected and those text messages will be added to your account. This ensures you will never run out of text messages and that you will only be charged for the text messages you send. You can change your bundle selection at anytime.
What if I want to use ReadyPing’s software without sending text messages?
That’s entirely up to you. If an auto-reload bundle of text messages is not selected, you can continue using ReadyPing just like anyone else. A restaurant that uses pagers may not have a good wait list management tool. That is a perfect example where a business may use ReadyPing, but does not take advantage of our text messaging capabilities. Of course, they can enable text messaging at any time.
How do I begin my Free 14-Day trial?
Simply go to the Sign Up page and click the button to get started. You will be asked to provide an email address and password to create a new account. Then just follow the easy steps to complete the registration process and begin your Free 14-Day Trial.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No. ReadyPing is a pay-as-you-go service. There are no long-term contracts or commitments on your part. You simply pay month-to-month. If you cancel after the trial, you will be billed for the current month, but you won’t be billed again.
Will I be able to start using ReadyPing right away?
Yes. After your new account profile has been created, and the sign up process has been completed, you will receive a welcome email and confirmation receipt from ReadyPing. Those emails will provide all of the information you need to log in and get started.
What if my business has more than one location?
If you have more than one location they will each need their own subscription to use our software. Simply log in to your account profile to purchase additional monthly subscriptions for each location.
If ReadyPing is not right for my business, how do I cancel?
We want you to be completely satisfied. If ReadyPing is not right for your business, simply log in to your account profile to cancel your monthly subscription.
